Google now converts Flash ads to HTML5 automatically
Campaigns will automatically be switched over to HTML5 when uploaded through AdWords, AdWords Editor or some third party tools. Although not all ads can be converted, the change should still affect a large portion of new campaigns. You can test whether your ad was converted by checking for impressions on tablets and mobile devices.
Google first suggested it would begin auto-converting ads back in September, in a move to make Web content accessible to all devices. It’s in line with the shift towards greater content consumption on mobile; last month the company begandefaulting YouTube to HTML5 on all devices.
