PlayStation exec Shuhei Yoshida’s Twitter account hacked by OurMine
OurMine, a group of hacking teens, has taken the account of one of the gaming world’s most beloved executives. Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida is the victim of the most recent attack, as seen in the screen shot below.
The timeline moves chronologically from bottom to top, so read it that way.
OurMine has done this with other big people in the world of tech. They claim to offer “security services” after they take over this accounts or perform DDoS attacks. The group recently claimed responsibility for last weekend’s Pokémon GO attack.
They take these accounts over, then they give them back after the victim contacts them. The “services” they offer range from $30 to $5,000. You can see by their tweets that they think they’re helping, or at least that’s the image they’re putting forth.
Why Yoshida? The dude is like one of the nicest people in the industry.
